I'm never really one to grab holiday collections unless it really appeals to me. Throughout the years, Too Faced has always released beautiful collections, but were almost always accompanied by simply bad reviews. This year, however, was apparently different due to the rave reviews about this collection, particularly the Boss Lady Beauty Agenda* set.
When it comes to buying anything, I always ask myself if the item adds anything new to my collection as I try my best to have variety rather than too many similar items. The only thing I felt that was really lacking in my makeup collection in terms of eyeshadow, was metallic jewel tone shades for when I wanted to venture out of neutral shades. So, when I laid my eyes on this eyeshadow palette and saw the beautiful rich emeralds, cranberries, navies, and purples, I felt compelled to have it!
This set is quite a comprehensive one as it includes a variety of amazing products: a 2018 agenda with stickers, monthly calendars, makeup tutorials, and to-do lists which you can place inside a zip-up case; you also get a deluxe size of the Melted Matte Liquid Lipsticks in the shade "Sell Out" as well as a deluxe size Better Than Sex Mascara; and of course, you also get the palette.
The eyeshadow palette is glorious: 24 eyeshadows and 3 face powders all of which are richly pigmented, albeit some a bit less than others. The metallics are exceptionally pigmented; in fact, they are the most pigmented eyeshadows I've ever experienced! The liquid lipstick is also a beautiful matte warm nude that feels very comfortable on the lips. In terms of the mascara, I didn't really understand the hype over it as it did not really volumize my lashes much.
All in all, this is an amazing set that I'm so glad to have in my collection. This collection is currently on sale PLUS a 20% off discount (Sephora code: SALEONSALE)! Unfortunately, this set is sold out on the US Sephora site, but it is still in stock on the Canadian site*! I would definitely check it out!
